2017 Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40

The Lucia 40 is a fiberglass catamaran built by Fountaine Pajot with a 40-foot length and 21-foot beam. Powered by twin 60 hp Volvo engines and rigged for sail, she carries three staterooms and two heads. The boat is US documented, configured for North American electrical systems (110V/60Hz), and has been exclusively sailed in the upper Chesapeake Bay's low salinity waters.

This single-owner yacht has seen minimal engine use at approximately 50 hours per year and features a comprehensive suite of systems. The 7.5 kW generator has 230 hours, while the upgraded engines show 500 hours. Recent 2025 service was performed on the sail drive. Power management includes 270 watts of solar panels paired with 480 Ah battery capacity, also serviced in 2025. A 12V water maker provides fresh water independence.

Accommodations and amenities include climate control throughout and a teak aft deck. The galley features an optional stainless steel freezer. Deck equipment comprises twin upgraded folding three-blade props, an AB tender mounted on stainless davits, and two complete canvas enclosures. The boat carries original equipment throughout with no visible wear or deterioration.
