The jv74 is a 2017 modern cruiser-racer built in full carbon composite by Premier Composite Technologies. Designed by Judel/Vrolijk, she combines performance sailing with comfortable cruising and can be configured for either mode. The hull features a hydraulic lifting keel that adjusts between 3.30 and 5.00 metres draft, allowing high-performance sailing capability with the option to enter shallow waters. The ergonomic cockpit suits both crewed racing and extended cruising operations.
Below deck, the yacht accommodates three spacious cabins, each with an ensuite head. A notable feature is the large dinghy garage, which fits a 4.20-metre tender. The interior employs lightweight composite construction throughout. Notable specifications include a carbon fibre HALL Spars mast, carbon fibre rigging, and hydraulic HARKEN winches. A teak deck completes the topside finish.
Equipment includes bow and stern thrusters, a complete sail wardrobe by Incidences, B&G H5000 electronics, and a watermaker producing 155 litres per hour. The yacht is powered by a single 160 hp Yammer diesel engine. The outstanding build quality is reflected in the yacht's light displacement of only 26.5 tonnes, exceptional for a yacht of this length and capability.
