2017 Ranger Tug R-27

This 2017 Ranger Tug R-27 is built on a solid fiberglass hull with a foam-filled stringer system and finished in teak and ebony vinyl. The single 300-horsepower Yamaha outboard engine has logged only 147 hours and receives regular maintenance. A supplementary Yamaha 9.9-horsepower auxiliary outboard is also included. The boat carries 150 gallons of fuel and 40 gallons of fresh water, with a 30-gallon holding tank for waste.

The design prioritizes comfort and usability. A curved front windshield and overhead glass atrium flood the interior with light and offer views throughout the salon. The aft bulkhead opens for ventilation, and the cockpit features a full King Canvas enclosure, folding seating, and a teak table. Forward, a double-wide bow lounge seat provides a second gathering space. The galley includes a two-burner propane stove and oven with broiler, plus a removable electric grill on the transom. A dinette converts to a sleeping berth, and a separate enclosed head has a shower, vessel sink, and towel rack.

A full suite of navigation and docking aids comes standard: a 12-inch Garmin chartplotter, bow thruster, windlass with dual controls, trim tabs, and electronic shift and throttle. The electrical system runs 30-amp shorepower with a SmartPlug connector and includes a 2000-watt inverter. Additional features include a VHF radio with DSC, dual bilge pumps, LED lighting throughout, Fusion stereo, and a 19-inch TV with DVD player.

The boat has been well maintained in covered storage and includes several owner upgrades: custom bilge dividers to organize equipment and protect the raw water through-hull, wooden storage accessory forward of the passenger seat, sun shades over the skylights, and a RAM mount. The hull employs stainless steel cleats and rails, bronze through-hulls, and a self-bailing cockpit liner.
