2017 Thunder Jet 28 Pilot

The 2017 Thunder Jet 28 Pilot is an aluminum runabout built for offshore performance on the West Coast. Power comes from twin Yamaha 300HP outboards with 400 hours of use, paired with a 25HP Yamaha kicker for trolling and efficiency. Both engines were installed in 2023 and include Command Link integration, with two years of remaining factory warranty. The welded aluminum hull features a deep-V design for a smooth, dry ride even in rough conditions.

The cabin is fully enclosed with large windows and an Airtronic D4 diesel heater for comfortable operation in cool BC waters. Interior accommodations include a forward-facing dinette that converts to sleeping berth, a spacious V-berth forward, galley with sink and refrigeration, and an enclosed head. The pilothouse setup provides excellent visibility and all-weather protection for the helm station, which includes dual engine controllers.

Navigation and fishery electronics are comprehensive: Lowrance HDS 16 multifunction display with integrated GPS, chartplotter, and fishfinder; Lowrance 4G radar; and Standard Horizon GX2200 Matrix VHF radio. The large, self-bailing cockpit has high gunnels, aluminum diamond plate decking, a transom door, and downrigger-ready infrastructure. Additional deck features include a windlass anchor system, washdown, LED flood lights, roof access ladder, and three-step boarding ladder.

An EZ Loader trailer is included. The boat comes equipped with safety gear, dock lines, life jackets, hoses, electrical adapters, and a tool kit.
