The 2018 Contest 67CS is a modern cruising sailboat developed in collaboration with the design firm Judel/Vrolijk. Built in fiberglass with an overall length of nearly 70 feet and a beam of just over 18 feet, she combines manageable handling with stable performance in a range of conditions. The design favors both offshore voyaging and competitive sailing, with responsive characteristics that suit short-handed operation.
The accommodation plan comprises an owner's cabin forward and two large guest cabins aft, each with double berths and ensuite heads with shower facilities. Forward of the owner's quarters sits a separate crew area with two berths, fully isolated from the owner and guest spaces. This layout allows for comfortable separation of private and working areas.
The rig is carbon throughout with in-boom furling in a V-boom configuration. All sails except the mainsail are hydraulically furled and controlled from the steering pedestals, streamlining sail handling across a range of wind conditions. The yacht is powered by a single Volvo Penta diesel engine and comes fully equipped and ready for active use.
