2018 Lagoon 42

The 2018 Lagoon 42 is a fiberglass catamaran built for extended cruising. She measures 42 feet in length with a 25-foot beam and is powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines of 114 horsepower each, currently showing 1,625 hours per side. The boat has been lightly used over her service life, having spent three years in storage, which has kept overall running hours modest.

The yacht features three cabins and three heads arranged for comfortable cruising. Accommodations are supported by substantial systems for self-sufficient operation: 2.74 kilowatts of solar generation, 800 amp-hours of lithium iron phosphate battery capacity, a 2-kilowatt portable generator, single-zone air conditioning, a watermaker, washer-dryer, and a stainless steel anchor.

Recent maintenance includes a copper-coat bottom paint applied in 2025, a new helm station surround, and replacement anchor chain. The engine rooms are spotless, reflecting a consistent maintenance history throughout the boat's operation.
