2018 Regal 28 Express

This 2018 Regal 28 Express combines a fiberglass hull with a single Volvo Penta V8-300 dual-prop engine and joystick control, built for responsive handling and fuel efficiency. Recent work has put the engine and key systems in solid shape: new windlass motor and bow roller, fresh oil lines, new fuel injector and spark plug, new batteries, and updated paint and clearcoat. The swim platform received new sea decking, and a Westerbeke generator provides onboard power.

The boat carries comprehensive electronics: Garmin radar, display, and VHF radio integrated on the dash, plus Volvo Connect for remote monitoring via smartphone. Equipment includes a bow thruster for docking, trim tabs for sea conditions, a full canvas enclosure with isinglass windows, underwater lights, a bow spotlight with controls, and a power arch. A joystick control system simplifies boat handling in tight quarters.

The open cockpit provides plenty of seating, with access forward to the bow via steps. The rear seating converts between forward and rear-facing configurations. Below deck, the cabin sleeps two with a main berth forward and smaller bunk aft. Amenities include air conditioning and heating, a galley with stove and microwave, a small refrigerator, a wet bar with sink and under-counter cooler, and a full head with shower and standing headroom. Storage runs throughout.
