The 2019 Leopard 40 is a fiberglass catamaran designed by Robertson & Caine with naval architecture by Simonis-Voogd. At nearly 40 feet in length with a 22-foot beam, this three-cabin layout delivers generous interior volume through expanded hull design and extensive glazing. Two Yanmar diesel engines of 58 horsepower each power the boat. The forward-facing galley opens to a large window with direct access to the forward platform, while the main saloon features a forward-facing settee and dining table separated from the aft cockpit by sliding glass doors. This open-concept design maximizes natural light and ventilation throughout the interior.
The owner's version includes two heads and an ash white interior finish. Climate control and electrical systems comprise a generator, air conditioning, and solar panels mounted on the hard top Bimini to charge the battery bank. The boat was regularly maintained as part of a charter fleet operation and underwent a complete phase-out maintenance program in November 2025.
