2019 Nautitech 40 Open

The 2019 Nautitech 40 Open is a fiberglass catamaran built around an efficient, single-level design that integrates deck, cockpit, and salon into one flowing living space. The lightweight construction and streamlined hull give the boat responsive handling and spirited sailing characteristics. Twin helm stations positioned outboard deliver excellent all-around visibility and control.

The three-cabin owner's layout accommodates cruising comfort with two heads and substantial storage throughout. The galley, saloon, and outdoor areas flow seamlessly, creating a sense of spaciousness despite the boat's moderate size. The design emphasizes practical cruising amenities and thoughtful interior organization.

Power comes from twin 60-horsepower Volvo diesel engines. Recent upgrades include a 500-ampere-hour lithium house battery bank installed in 2023, 1000 watts of solar generation, and a Onan 6.5-kilowatt generator for extended independence. A 60-liter-per-hour watermaker provides fresh water production underway. The boat carries air conditioning and heating throughout. Navigation equipment includes B&G electronics. A North Sails Helix furling gennaker was installed in 2025.
