2019 Newton 36' Dive Special

The 2019 Newton 36' Dive Special is a purpose-built explorer designed for extended diving operations. Built on a fiberglass hull measuring 36 feet in length with a 14-foot beam, she is powered by twin Cummins diesel engines producing 990 horsepower combined, delivering a cruising speed of 21 knots and a maximum speed of 30 knots. The boat holds a 100-mile COI and stability endorsement, certified for ocean route operation.

The layout accommodates 12 divers and three crew members, with one head aboard. The boat is equipped with a comprehensive navigation and monitoring suite including dual Simrad NSS 12 Evo 3S displays, Simrad autopilot, Simrad 3D structure scan, side scan, down scan, XM satellite weather, Simrad AIS transponder, and a DTS helm remote. A camera system covers both the engine room and deck for operational visibility.

Safety systems include AED, oxygen kit, and first aid equipment throughout. Onboard amenities feature both AC and DC refrigeration, microwave galley equipment, and a practical design focused on supporting dive operations and crew comfort during extended voyages.
