The Innovation 26 is a 37-foot aluminum explorer designed for guard and passenger work. Powered by a single 370 hp Volvo diesel engine, it cruises at 28 knots while consuming just 1.5 litres per nautical mile. The boat underwent a complete rebuild between 2023 and 2024, with hull reinforcement, frame renewal, new skin plating, and a fresh bow-spike. All technical systems were replaced during this refit. The wheelhouse is mounted on rubber feet within the hull and fully insulated for a quiet working environment. Dual steering positions—external and internal—provide operational flexibility.
Navigation and communication systems are modern and recently installed. The package includes a Raymarine Axiom Pro 2 12-inch display with HD broadband radar, Emtrek AIS, and a Ray50 VHF DSC radio with high-gain mast. Trim and handling are managed by an Interceptors ZipWake system and a new bow thruster. Propulsion comes from a 2020 DPI drive with soft engagement, which has only 1,500 hours of runtime and has been recently serviced.
Onboard comfort features a full electrical system with dual battery packs, Victron energy management, 220-volt AC power, and shore-power capability. Hot and cold pressurised water, an Eberspächer diesel heater, dehumidifier, induction hob, and coffee machine support extended operations. Lighting includes LED floodlights, bow light, and night-red lights throughout. The 16-person liferaft, fire extinguishers, and diving ladder are included for safety and convenience.
The layout comprises a fore cabin left as an unfurnished shell with utilities installed, an ergonomic driver's station with twin seats, and rear fold-away bench seating that converts between passenger capacity and cargo flexibility. A sound-proof Libra door separates the fore-cabin.
