2020 Hallberg-Rassy 48 MkII

The Hallberg-Rassy 48 MkII is a substantial cruising yacht built to exacting standards. This 2020 example measures 49 feet in length with a 15-foot beam and features a fiberglass hull powered by a single 110-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engine. The boat is equipped with bow and stern thrusters, electric furling sails, electric winches, an onboard water maker, and a generator. The electrical installation includes integrated 12-volt, 24-volt, 220-volt, and 110-volt systems throughout.

The interior comprises three cabins and two heads, with a centreline owner's berth and linear galley. The main saloon offers generous space and includes a retractable 40-inch television and integrated sound system. The yacht features an oak interior upgrade, distinguishing this particular boat from others in the model line.

Built as hull number 90, this is the penultimate 48 MkII produced. The boat was sailed from Lymington and completed the 2023 Atlantic Rally for Cruisers, finishing second in class. It was subsequently transported back to the UK in 2024.
