2020 Lagoon 46

The 2020 Lagoon 46 is a modern cruising catamaran built for comfortable extended voyaging and family living. At 46 feet with a 26-foot beam, this fiberglass catamaran is powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines of 114 hp each. The design—from naval architects VPLP—centers on natural light, open sightlines, and ease of handling, with an aft-stepped mast, self-tacking jib, and optional electric winches to simplify short-handed operation. The hull uses infused polyester construction with balsa-core reinforcement for strength and reduced weight.

The interior divides into four cabins, each with generous storage, natural light, and an ensuite head with separate shower. The salon features panoramic windows, a spacious settee and dining area, and a well-equipped galley with ample counter and storage space. A large sash bay window opens the salon directly to a forward cockpit, creating seamless flow between interior and deck spaces.

Deck layout prioritizes livability and movement. The aft cockpit provides a large dining area with sliding bench seating and optional exterior galley setup. The flybridge offers commanding helm visibility and convertible sunbeds for guests. Wide bathing platforms at the transom facilitate boarding and tender handling. The expansive aft cockpit accommodates up to 12 guests with modular seating, while the forward cockpit adds secondary lounging space connected directly to the salon.
