The 2020 Leopard 40 is a fiberglass catamaran designed by Robertson & Caine with naval architecture by Simonis-Voogd. At nearly 40 feet long with a 22-foot beam, it combines generous interior volume with an open-plan design that maximizes natural light and ventilation. Large windows and sliding glass doors connect the cabin spaces to the cockpit, while a forward-facing galley overlooks the foredeck through expansive glazing with direct access to the platform.
The three-cabin, two-head layout follows the owner's configuration and features an ash white interior finish. The main living area includes a forward-facing settee and dining table that separates from the aft cockpit seating via sliding glass doors. This design philosophy extends sightlines throughout and supports cross-ventilation when needed.
Power comes from two Yanmar diesel engines of 58 horsepower each. The yacht is equipped with a generator, air conditioning, and solar panels mounted on the hardtop Bimini to charge the batteries. The boat was maintained as part of a charter fleet program and received a complete phase-out maintenance service in November 2026.
