The 2020 Leopard 40 is a contemporary catamaran designed by Simonis and Voogd in collaboration with South African builders Robertson & Caine. Built on a fiberglass hull, she combines the speed and blue-water capability of the Leopard line with an enlarged hull volume and redesigned interior layout. Twin 58-horsepower Yammer diesel engines provide propulsion.
The accommodation plan features three cabins and two heads arranged around an open, flowing interior. The galley is positioned forward, while a forward-facing settee and access door open onto the bow platform. The saloon connects to the aft cockpit via large sliding glass doors, creating a unified living space that merges indoor and outdoor areas for easy interaction between guests.
This example is outfitted with a lighter ash interior, air conditioning, a generator, electric davits, and a walk-through forward door. The boat has no storm damage history.
