2020 Leopard 40

The Leopard 40 is a modern fiberglass catamaran built by South African builder Robertson & Caine. Designed by Simonis and Voogd, the 40-foot hull combines speed and blue-water capability with a thoughtful interior layout. The galley sits forward, and the saloon features large sliding glass doors opening to the aft cockpit, creating an open flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. A forward-facing settee with panoramic windows and a direct door to the forward platform enhance this sense of openness.

The layout includes four cabins and two heads. The aft cabins feature a walk-around design, and the interior is finished in light ash cabinetry. The yacht is equipped with two 58-horsepower Yammer diesel engines, a generator, air conditioning, and electric davits for dinghy handling. A walk-through forward door provides direct access to the forward platform.

This 2020 model shows lower engine hours than typical for its age. The catamaran is 40 feet long with a 21-foot beam, offering the spacious platform for which the type is known.
