The 2020 NEEL 47 is a performance-oriented trimaran built with a carbon mast—a significant upgrade from the standard aluminum option—paired with new Precision Tri-Radial sails on order and an asymmetric spinnaker. The fiberglass hull is engineered for stability and speed across its broad beam, with a Facnor furling system, electric halyard, and maneuvering winches. A 60 hp Volvo Penta D2-60 inboard diesel with sail drive and three-blade folding propeller powers the boat, while an electric windlass and bow thruster aid handling at anchor and dock.
The layout centers on an open-plan living space where three large sliding doors can be stowed away to merge the cockpit and salon. The master suite sits at the same level as the main salon, separated by a sliding privacy door, with a forward bathroom in the center hull featuring a separate toilet and walk-in shower. The two outer hulls each contain a well-appointed cabin and head.
Creature comforts include air conditioning throughout, a generator, solar panels, a washing machine, and a 50-inch flat screen Smart TV. A 25-gallon-per-hour water maker, dive compressor, Starlink, Victron inverter with lithium batteries, radar, EPIRB, and a dyneema main halyard round out the systems. New sails are on order for delivery in 2026. A cockpit enclosure with mosquito screen completes the setup.
