2020 Ranger Tugs R-27

The 2020 Ranger Tugs R-27 is a 27-foot fiberglass trawler built for serious cruising. Powered by a single 300 hp Yamaha outboard engine with approximately 250 hours of service, the boat combines seaworthy design with practical onboard systems. A 9.9 hp Yamaha auxiliary outboard provides additional maneuvering capability, supported by bow and stern thrusters for tight-quarters handling.

Accommodation includes a galley with refrigerator, stove, oven, and microwave, along with hot and cold water sinks. The boat features air conditioning with dual heating and cooling cycles powered by a lithium service battery, allowing climate control independent of a generator. A marine toilet with macerator and black water tank serves the heads. The cabin layout emphasizes natural light and ergonomic use of space throughout.

Navigation and seamanship equipment includes a Garmin 8612xsv chartplotter with sonar, Garmin xHD radar, and Garmin autopilot with remote control. VHF radio, electric windlass, and a full complement of safety gear support cruising operations. Power systems comprise a 160W solar panel with 20 amp controller, 2000W converter, and AGM engine battery backed by lithium service capacity. Electrical outlets provide 110V, 12V, and USB power throughout.

The boat carries a Bimini top, custom aft cockpit sun shade, LED mood lighting, underwater lights, and a ramp platform. Fishing rod holders, GPS-enabled systems, and integrated Fusion radio with six speakers complete the setup. The trawler arrives with anchor, chain, and line ready for deployment.
