2021 Cobalt R8

The 2021 Cobalt R8 is a 27-foot bowrider powered by a single 400-horsepower Mercury 6.2L DTS engine. Built on a deep-V hull with Kevlar reinforcement, it delivers solid handling and ride quality. The fiberglass construction has a dry weight of 6,400 pounds and carries an 80-gallon fuel capacity. Engine hours sit at 37 since new.

The cockpit features dual Garmin glass displays for navigation and monitoring. The open layout includes a bow walk-through door, snap-in flooring, and seating across the bow and aft sunpad with multi-position loungers. An enclosed head compartment provides a full facility, while a removable cooler keeps provisions cold. The swim platform is stainless steel with a flip-down step. Audio comes by way of a Bluetooth system with six speakers.

Interior appointments reflect Cobalt's premium standards, with high-grade upholstery and stitching throughout. The boat was serviced exclusively at the Cobalt dealership and has seen freshwater-only use on Center Hill Lake. Storage has been methodical: kept on a hydraulic lift during the boating season and in a climate-controlled building during winter months. A Tennessee boat trailer is included.
