2021 Fountaine Pajot Astrea 42 Catamaran

The 2021 Fountaine Pajot Astrea 42 is a fiberglass catamaran measuring 41 feet long with a 24-foot beam. Twin 50 hp Volvo Penta diesel engines with approximately 1,300 hours provide propulsion. The boat is configured as a three-cabin owner's version.

Accommodation includes two forward cabins with adjustable slatted berths and a convertible square dinette table that converts to a bed. The main saloon features beige PVC upholstery and synthetic teak detailing. An electric toilet, 90-liter 12V cooler, and dedicated cockpit refrigerator support comfort. Lighting and ventilation systems include 12V fans and courtesy lighting throughout. A hot water deck shower serves the cockpit area.

The helm station includes dual electronic winches, an electric windlass with helm-mounted controls and counters, and a comprehensive Garmin navigation package with two 10- and 12-inch GPS units, anemometer, VHF radio, AIS, and dual GMI 20 multifunction displays. Additional VHF is positioned at the helm. A Fusion Bluetooth audio system with Bose speakers and TV/HIFI antenna complete the electronics suite.

Extended outdoor living features a fixed bimini top over the helm with closure canvas, a forward canopy-style sun shade, and extended salon seating with grey titanium cushioning. A dining table extends to seat ten. Deck equipment includes a 3-meter semi-rigid tender, electric winches for the dinghy davit, complete mooring kit with six fenders, an electric windlass rated 1000 watts, and full safety equipment. Power systems comprise AGM batteries, a 400-watt solar panel array, a 2000W charger-converter, and dual 220V/50Hz and 110V/60Hz mains circuits.
