The 2021 Salpa SOLEIL 42 is a high-performance semi-rigid cruiser designed by Adam Younger, combining sportiness with luxury and space. Powered by twin Yamaha 425 XTO engines, it reaches a maximum speed of 54 knots and cruises at 25–35 knots. The hull features a double-step design optimized for smooth running in various sea conditions. The boat shows only 200 engine hours and is finished throughout in reinforced Hypalon tubes with carbon accents on exposed areas for durability and elegance.
The cockpit is purpose-built for serious boating, with three bucket seats, a modern dash featuring dual configurable Garmin displays, and Yamaha joystick control. Navigation and onboard systems include an electric anchor windlass with chain counter, autopilot, bow thruster, VHF radio, and Fusion Bluetooth audio. Large swim platforms with ladder and integrated seating maximize time on the water.
Below deck, the boat offers genuine living space: a forward cabin with convertible double berth and convertible lounge, a guest cabin with modular double bed, and a separate head with electric toilet and washbasin. Climate control and an inverter system provide 220V power underway. The exterior includes an electric-lift dining table and sunshade mounted on carbon poles, an oversized forward sunbathing area with two integrated loungers, and an aft galley sheltered beneath the T-top hardtop.
The layout prioritizes circulation around the engines and easy boarding, with expansive swim platforms and well-organized storage throughout. An inflatable tender is available.
