This 2022 Catathai 43 is a fiberglass sailing catamaran designed by Jean and Frasca Design, built as the factory-extended 43-foot version of the Grand Voyage series. Twin Sole diesel engines rated at 54 hp each propel the boat to a maximum speed of 8 knots with a cruising speed of 6 knots. The design emphasizes light displacement of around 6 tonnes paired with a 101-square-meter mainsail and headsail setup, delivering strong upwind performance. An 80-square-meter gennaker is available for off-wind sailing.
The open-plan interior combines the saloon, galley, and large covered cockpit on a single level, creating expansive living space with 360-degree visibility and excellent ventilation. Three cabins and two heads accommodate cruising crews. The navigation station sits forward with good sightlines and connects directly to the owner's suite. Multiple seating and lounging areas are integrated throughout the cockpit under a hard top, and flat decks with direct access to forward trampolines enable safe movement and relaxation underway.
Control lines run aft to an elevated helm station positioned under a bimini, allowing straightforward short-handed sailing. The interior layout prioritizes both comfort and practical cruising functionality. The owner has refined many onboard systems since the boat's 2022 launch, resulting in comprehensive maintenance. The engines were serviced in January 2026 with approximately 600 hours each, and the hull received antifouling at the same time. The boat is currently in dry storage.
