The 2022 Chittum Skiffs Islamorada 18R is a carbon-composite flats boat built for serious saltwater fishing. It features a 12-degree deadrise hull with a 100% carbon construction package throughout the bulkheads, transom, lids, lockers, rod racks, and console interior, finished with ceramic coating and factory sound deadening. The boat is powered by a Mercury 115 Pro XS with just 73 original engine hours. It rides on a custom galvanized Ram-Lin trailer with torsion axle, LED lighting, and a remote-operated Power Winch equipped with a solar charging system.
The deck layout follows Chittum's Legacy configuration with a large removable forward casting platform, step-on poling platform, and spacious aft seating area. The plumbed livewell includes an airstone bubbler system, and a Simrad 9" EVO3S GPS with side-scan transom transducer and auxiliary antenna handles navigation. The boat is pre-wired for a 24V trolling motor system and comes with 12V and 24V smart chargers already installed, leaving only the motor and battery to be added. A Bob's 6-inch hydraulic jack plate and carbon trim tabs complete the running gear.
Finishing details include gray ghost hull color with lagoon blue non-skid decking, gray pearl carbon cushions, custom SeaDek in the lockers, and textured black powder-coated aluminum accents. LED lighting on the casting platform and oversized grab handles enhance visibility and safety. The boat was single-owned and shows minimal use.
