2022 Chittum Skiffs Islamorada 21

The 2022 Chittum Islamorada is a 21-foot flats skiff built entirely from carbon fiber with a 12-degree deadrise hull. The design balances shallow-water capability with confidence in open chop and features Chittum's signature sharp entry and spray rails. Powered by a Mercury 115 ProXS engine with 185 hours, the boat reaches approximately 50 mph and is equipped with a Bob's Machine Shop hydraulic jack plate offering 6 inches of lift and 4 inches of setback. A Minn Kota Terrova 112-pound-thrust trolling motor with iPilot and 36V lithium battery provides quiet poling assistance.

The helm centers on a Simrad NSS Evo3S 12-inch GPS and sounder integrated with engine data via NMEA 2000. The large upgraded console includes an Edson steering wheel, backlit switch panel, and USB charging. Trim tabs with indicator lights and ElectroTab control round out the engine management. The helm also features a hook puller and dedicated space for tackle organization.

Storage and fishing features include an anchor locker, large forward storage with gasket and gutter seals, a factory-prepared removable casting platform, and a 50-quart insulated cooler in the center console. The five-hatch aft system provides a lit livewell with high-speed pickup, dual dry storage compartments, a dedicated crustacean well with bubbler, and bilge access. Rod storage spans eleven tubes across both gunwales—seven starboard and four port—accommodating fly rods and conventional tackle. The integrated poling platform and open layout suit technical fishing.

The boat was originally a Chittum demo, then single-owner and garage-kept in Houston. It includes a custom Ramlin aluminum trailer with torsion axle, black Raptor coating, swing tongue, and spare tire. The boat has been serviced, detailed, and water-tested.
