This 2022 Custom Spirited 480 is a composite catamaran designed for extended cruising and liveaboard use. The hull spans 48.56 feet in length with a generous 25.59-foot beam, powered by twin 78-horsepower Yanmar diesel engines. The boat reaches speeds up to 8 knots at full throttle and cruises comfortably at 6.5 knots. Equipped with custom sails and daggerboards, the catamaran tracks well upwind with boards deployed and delivers strong downwind performance with boards retracted. Electric halyard and headsail furling systems support single-handed operation.

The layout centers on a galley-down configuration that opens the main saloon and cockpit into an expansive living space. Three cabins and two heads accommodate extended stays, with warm cherry wood finishes throughout the interior. The forward-facing navigation station serves dual purpose as a work area with ample room for charts and electronic navigation systems.

Practical cruising equipment includes a watermaker, generator, and 1 kilowatt of solar power for extended passages away from shore infrastructure. The shallow 90-centimeter draft allows access to protected anchorages unsuitable for deeper-keeled vessels.
