2022 Leopard 42

This 2022 Leopard 42 is a fiberglass catamaran built by Robertson & Caine, measuring 41.67 feet in length with a 23-foot beam. The design centers on spacious accommodations and strong cruising capability, featuring a modern layout with forward cockpit, excellent visibility, and comfortable helm arrangement. Twin Yanmar diesel engines of 90 hp each power the boat through saildrives, with approximately 1,000 hours logged.

The four-cabin, four-head layout includes a galley with Fisher & Paykel dishwasher, Vitrifrigo refrigeration, interior and cockpit fridge/freezer, and microwave. Climate control comes from a Vimar air conditioning system backed by two 12,000 BTU Mabru units. All four heads feature electric flushing toilets with fresh/saltwater selection and showers; an exterior stern shower is also fitted. Bedding is included.

Electrical systems have been substantially upgraded for extended cruising and anchoring. The installation includes 900Ah of 12V RELiON lithium house batteries, three AGM starting batteries, a 5000W Quattro inverter/charger, Victron monitoring system, and approximately 1,480 watts of SunPower solar panels on a custom stainless frame. A 6kW Northern Lights generator with about 125 hours provides backup power. Dual 30-amp shore power connections are fitted port and starboard.

The sailing package features Doyle main and jib/genoa sails, plus an aftermarket Mack Sails furling Code Zero in 2.2 oz nylon with UV cover. Two electric winches and one manual winch manage sail handling. Navigation and entertainment equipment includes Raymarine MFD displays, AIS 700, autopilot, dual i80 displays, Quantum II radar, and Fusion stereo in salon and cockpit. Starlink connectivity is installed. Deck features include a bowsprit with roller furler, stainless davit system with electric winch, Rocna 73 lb anchor, PlasDeck synthetic decking, and a life raft stowed under the cockpit seat. An OC Tender 350 with 2022 Tohatsu 20 hp outboard is included and mounts via the davit system.
