2022 YYachts Y7

The 2022 Y7 is a 71-foot composite sailing yacht designed by Bill Tripp and built by YYachts in Germany. Twin Nanni diesel engines produce 158 horsepower and deliver a cruising speed of 9 knots, with a maximum speed of 16 knots. The yacht features a hydraulic telescopic keel that draws just 2.2 meters when fully retracted, making shallow-water exploration practical. A bow and stern thruster enhance manoeuvrability in close quarters.

The interior comprises five cabins—four guest cabins plus crew quarters—and five heads, providing comfortable accommodation for extended cruising with guests or a larger crew. The design prioritizes both guest comfort and operational efficiency.

The Y7 is outfitted with an extensive list of premium equipment. A furling boom and comprehensive sail wardrobe support varied wind conditions. The mainsail includes magic trim capability for ease of handling. Climate control comes from an air conditioning system, while a generator and watermaker ensure self-sufficiency at anchor. A bimini provides shade on deck.
