The 2023 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 380 is a performance cruiser designed by Marc Lombard with interior styling by Jean-Marc Piaton. Built on a solid fiberglass hull with a balsa-cored deck, this 38-foot yacht features a reverse bow, pronounced hull chines, and a high-aspect Selden rig paired with twin wheels and dual rudders for responsive, fingertip steering. The integrated bowsprit serves double duty as an anchor roller, and the boat is equipped with a 29 hp Yanmar diesel engine. A Code 0 furler, Kato davit setup, and bimini top are included.

The walk-around side decks ramp down to cockpit level, eliminating steps and improving safety and accessibility. The large, well-appointed cockpit features a centerline drop-leaf table with stainless-steel frame and plenty of seating for crew comfort. Below deck, the traditional two-cabin, one-head layout centers on a saloon with U-shaped seating to port and a long settee to starboard, along with a dedicated nav station. The galley includes a gimbaled two-burner propane stove with oven and substantial refrigeration. Storage is generous throughout, with deep fiddles on galley counters and multiple hanging lockers for extended cruising.

Construction details include hand-laid solid fiberglass for the hull and a molded deck with balsa core. The boat rides on a fixed cast-iron keel in standard draft configuration (6 feet, 6 inches). Engine hours are low. The rig stands 54 feet, 6 inches, designed to clear Intracoastal Waterway bridges.
