The NEEL 43 is a 2023 fiberglass trimaran with a 43-foot length and 24.5-foot beam. Powered by a single 50-horsepower Volvo diesel engine, this tri-hull design combines stable cruising with distinctive accommodation and layout. The boat features a carbon mast and sails from Incidences, including a Pro Radial Square top main, genoa, staysail, and gennaker.
The interior comprises three double cabins plus a saloon convertible to a fourth sleeping space with privacy curtains. The saloon and cockpit form the signature Cockloon® layout, creating an open, light-filled living area with 360-degree views. The helm station is elevated and ergonomic, enabling all maneuvers to be handled from a single position. Multiple cockpit seating areas support both daily sailing and entertaining at anchor.
On-deck features include substantial sunbathing areas forward and on the cabin roof, sturdy water access via a portside ladder, and generous storage for tenders, water sports gear, and provisions. The boat carries substantial cruising systems: a watermaker, 1800-watt solar array, 900-amp battery bank, and an AST carbon dinghy with 7.5-horsepower Mercury electric outboard including spare battery and high-capacity charger.
Recent work completed in 2025 includes new bottom paint and new canvas, as well as a full engine and saildrive service. The boat has been maintained with careful attention throughout its ownership.
