2023 Wellcraft 222 Fisherman

The 2023 Wellcraft 222 Fisherman is a 22-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a single 200 hp Mercury engine. Designed for fishing and general recreational use, the boat balances angler functionality with comfortable cruising capabilities across its 8.5-foot beam.

The open layout centers on a spacious cockpit featuring a leaning post with backrest and rod holders, a 72-quart cooler integrated under the post, and a stern baitwell with 23-gallon capacity, light, and timer. The helm includes a stainless steel steering wheel, compass, and custom gauges. A changing room with head (porta potty) and enclosed storage are located in the console, alongside a windscreen for weather protection.

The boat is outfitted with practical fishing and boating features throughout. Stainless steel hardware includes helm seating, assist handles, pull-up cleats, grab handles, and bow rails. The deck features a self-draining fiberglass liner with skid-resistant surface, anchor locker with lid, telescoping stern ladder, LED navigation lights, and raw water wash down. The hull structure uses a fiberglass stringer system. Battery management, automatic bilge pump, hydraulic steering, USB charge ports, and 12-volt outlets support onboard systems.

The boat comes in Wellcraft White with choice of interior color scheme and accent powdercoat. It is NMMA-certified and meets applicable USCG and Canadian regulations to ABYC standards. Trim tabs are included for improved handling and control.
