The 2024 Balance 482 is a 48-foot composite catamaran built for serious ocean cruising with genuine sailing performance. Designed to balance powerful sailing characteristics with comfortable liveaboard accommodations, this yacht features the brand's signature engineering: hand-laminated composite construction with carbon fiber reinforcement in high-load areas, a closed-cell foam core, and vinylester outer skin resin. The hull has a fresh white finish following recent removal of its vinyl wrap. Two Yanmar diesel engines of 90 horsepower each power the yacht, paired with the Balance-signature VersaHelm steering system for easy handling by a small crew.

The three-cabin layout suits extended voyaging with full liveaboard capability. Two heads serve the accommodation spaces.
