2024 Dufour 470

This 2024 Dufour 470 is a modern fiberglass cruising sailboat built for comfortable passage-making and reduced-crew sailing. At 48.7 feet long with a 15.5-foot beam and 7.4-foot draft, the hull offers a balance of volume, stability, and sailing performance. The boat is rigged with a mainsail on roller furling, self-tacking jib, and Code 0, a straightforward and efficient setup suited to Mediterranean cruising.

The interior accommodates three double cabins and two heads with a convertible saloon, sleeping up to eight in a bright and functional layout. The absence of a dedicated forward cabin provides extra space for sail and equipment storage—a practical arrangement for extended cruising. The saloon can be reconfigured as needed for various uses.

Power comes from a Volvo Penta D2-75 diesel engine producing 75 horsepower with approximately 470 hours of operation. A four-blade folding propeller maintains good efficiency under engine and sail. The navigation suite includes a Raymarine Axiom 12-inch touchscreen, AIS receiver, VHF radio with portable backup, autopilot, and full instrumentation including depth, speed, and wind data. Dual anchor windlass controls with chain counter are fitted.

Onboard autonomy is strengthened by solar panels rated 2 × 115 watts, a Victron battery monitor and smart shunt, and a 40-liter hot water heater. The cockpit features teak construction, bimini top, deck shower, sunbathing areas with integral storage, an electric cooktop, and integrated cockpit refrigeration. A 9-foot dinghy with an electric outboard and three spare batteries completes the equipment list.
