The 2024 True North 34 is a 34-foot express cruiser built on a fiberglass hull with classic Downeast styling and modern outboard power. Twin 350-horsepower Suzuki dual-prop engines deliver a cruising speed of 20 knots with a top end of 25 knots. The sharp, plumb bow and balanced displacement hull are designed to cut through waves rather than pound on them, offering stability across varying sea conditions. The boat features trim tabs and joystick control for responsive handling.
The pilothouse layout centers around comfort and visibility, with a hardback enclosure, sliding sunroof with interior wood trim, and enlarged windows for 360-degree sightlines. The teak and holly flooring runs through the salon, galley, and steering station. A 12-volt electric retractable sunshade protects the cockpit. Below deck, the single master cabin includes a head and shower, finished in teak.
Onboard systems include a bow thruster, 12-volt anchor windlass, and a hydraulic transom bracket that positions the outboards deep into the water or completely out of it. The galley is equipped with an induction cooktop and convection microwave, both 110-volt. A 110-volt generator, 2000-watt inverter, and Webasto forced air heating support extended cruising. Raw water washdowns at bow and stern, underwater lights, and a remote search light are installed.
Electronics include a Garmin package with a 16-inch GPSMAP 8616xsv chartplotter, VHF 315 radio, Autopilot Reactor 40, and GT15 m-HA sonar. Fusion marine audio with speakers completes the helm setup. The boat is painted Awlgrip Flag Blue with a white boot stripe.
