The 2024 Vexus AVX2080 is a 20-foot 2-inch aluminum bay boat engineered for tournament-level performance. Built on an all-welded, high-performance pad hull with a 0.125-inch bottom thickness, the design delivers a quick hole shot and a smooth, responsive ride even in rough water. The hull extends four inches beyond the earlier AVX1980 model and accommodates modern 200 horsepower outboards, with a 35-gallon fuel tank positioned to balance the layout.
The boat combines performance hardware with practical fishing features. It includes a tournament-grade fiberglass livewell with aeration, anti-splash ring, divider, and pump-out capability. Dual rod boxes sit at the bow, while oversized rear storage and an insulated fiberglass cooler with seal and drain provide ample space for gear. The cockpit features custom upholstery, an adjustable driver's seat, and an elevated pedestal base for visibility and comfort. Steering is handled by SeaStar Pro hydraulic systems with foot throttle control, and the boat rides on a tandem-axle trailer.
The equipped package includes dual Humminbird Helix 9 CHIRP MEGA units mounted at console and bow, a Minn Kota Ultrex 80 MDI MR 45-inch trolling motor, and a Dual Pro 6x3 on-board charger. Electronics feature integrated LED bow lights and removable stern navigation lights, with solid-state wiring throughout. The boat is finished in Midnight Oil Metallic with gray bottom and includes a custom cover and spare tire.
