2025 Catalina 426

The 2025 Catalina 426 is a 42-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built for cruising performance and comfort. The design combines a modern hull with thoughtful deck layout, including a wide, clear weather deck and single shroud point for easy foredeck access. The hull employs multiaxial fiberglass construction with carbon fiber reinforcement in select areas, paired with a custom Catalina/Mars wing keel featuring a low-drag cruising bulb. The Selden mast uses lightweight LMP sections and swept spreader design for closer sheeting angles and simpler side deck passage. A Yanmar 57 hp diesel engine powers the boat, complemented by a 6.5 hp bow thruster for maneuvering.

The three-cabin, two-head layout maximizes space for extended cruising. The cabin features ultraleather interior cushions in the main and aft cabins, ample natural light, and innovative storage throughout. The galley includes a refrigerated drawer, a second refrigerator/freezer unit, and a dedicated wine cooler. Fresh water quiet flush heads serve both compartments. Thoughtful amenities include a drop-down table on the starboard side with filler cushions and a varnished teak cockpit table with padded Sunbrella cover.

Sail handling is streamlined with a furling mainsail featuring vertical battens, self-tacking jib, and an electric mainsail winch operable from both port and starboard sides of the cabin top. The boat carries a bimini, dodger, and connector piece in smoke grey, along with twin 32-inch gray leather-wrapped steering wheels.

The electronics suite is comprehensive, featuring Raymarine systems including an Axiom Pro 12 S chartplotter, Evolution EV-400 SailPilot autopilot, 18 Quantum Doppler Radar, AIS700 transponder, and Ray63 VHF radio with remote mic. Navigation aids include dual i70 instrument displays for depth, speed, and wind data. A Sensar Marine Boat Monitor system provides vessel monitoring. Onboard climate control includes air conditioning and reverse cycle heat in two zones, plus diesel heating options. Additional conveniences include a Mini 8 generator, Fusion Marine stereo with Bluetooth and Sirius capability, and a 43-inch 4K smart television.
