The 2026 Catalina 426 is a contemporary sailing yacht built on Catalina's proven heritage, designed to combine modern styling with enduring functionality. At 42 feet with a 13.67-foot beam, this fiberglass hull features a lead keel and single rudder, with a watertight collision bulkhead and reinforced chainplates for structural integrity. The boat is powered by a single Yanmar diesel engine and equipped with a bow thruster for manageable handling.

The rigging and sail plan prioritize control and balance. A Selden Synchronized Main Furling system pairs with an electric cabin-top winch for simplified mainsail handling. The boat carries a 135% furling genoa plus self-tacking jib, supported by twin Selden E52-ST three-speed electric primary winches and a manual S46 winch. Long inboard genoa tracks and a mainsheet traveler system with German mainsheet enable precise sail trim across variable conditions.

The interior provides two cabins and two heads finished in Burmese teak with ash slatted panels and a teak-and-holly sole.
