2026 Catalina 426

The 2026 Catalina 426 is a modern cruising sailboat built on the legacy of Catalina's proven design philosophy. At 42 feet with a 13.67-foot beam, this fiberglass hull combines contemporary styling with functional durability. The boat features a lead keel with single rudder, watertight collision bulkhead, and a full complement of control systems including a Selden synchronized main furling system with electric cabin-top winch, long traveler, and inboard genoa tracks for balanced sail handling. Power comes from a single Yanmar diesel engine.

The interior spans two cabins and two heads, with a workshop space that converts to additional sleeping quarters. Accommodations feature Burmese teak cabinetry with ash slatted panels, teak and holly sole, and cream ultra-leather upholstery. The galley includes two refrigerator-freezer units, while both heads feature fresh-water quiet flush systems. A dropdown starboard table and filler cushion define the main saloon.

The electronics package is comprehensive, centered on Garmin systems including dual GMI 20 multifunction displays, a GPSMAP 8610 chartplotter, GMR Fantom 18 radar, Reactor 40 autopilot, AIS 800 transceiver, and a 215 VHF radio. Navigation and sailing are further supported by thru-hull and masthead transducers. A Fusion audio system with multiple speakers handles entertainment.

Sailing gear includes a furling mainsail with vertical battens and a 135% furling genoa paired with a self-tacking jib. Both mainsails carry U.V. protection. The boat is equipped with Selden three-speed electric primary winches and a manual secondary winch, composite steering wheels, and a 6.5-horsepower bow thruster. A Webasto forced-air heating system provides cabin warmth, and AGM batteries power both house and starting circuits.
