2025 Helmsman Trawlers 43E PILOTHOUSE

The 2025 Helmsman Trawlers 43E Pilothouse is a 43-foot fiberglass trawler powered by a single Cummins QSB 6.7 diesel engine producing 480 horsepower, paired with a ZF marine transmission and dual-station controls. Built with a stone gray hull and cloud white non-skid surfaces, the boat extends to 47 feet overall with its elevated swim platform and double outward-opening transom doors. The pilothouse design offers protection and visibility, with side entry doors on both the pilothouse and cockpit bulwarks.

The yacht features a two-stateroom layout with generous accommodations throughout. The flybridge includes an L-shaped settee with starboard helm and two forward-facing helm chairs, hardtop shade, and courtesy lighting. The pilothouse incorporates a double pilot berth conversion and a helm seat with cabinetry. The galley is equipped with a Force 10 propane range with oven, Panasonic microwave, and NovaKool refrigerator-freezer, with Caesarstone countertops. A day head is included, and storage has been enhanced throughout.

Propulsion and handling are supported by twin Sleipner thrusters—an SE100 bow thruster and SE80 stern thruster—along with Bennett trim tabs and a Northern Lights 6kw generator in sound enclosure. The Reverso oil change system and Fireboy auto-manual engine room fire suppression system are fitted. Power comes from five AGM batteries distributed across engine start, house banks, and dedicated circuits for the bow thruster and windlass. A Webasto hydronic heating system and Torrid 17-gallon water heater provide climate and hot water.

Electronics are comprehensive and modern: dual Garmin GPSMAP displays with sounder, Garmin GMR Fantasm 24x radar, Garmin Reactor 40 autopilot with GHC50 control, and rudder feedback. A Fusion Apollo color touchscreen stereo system drives interior and outdoor speakers, while Starlink direct surface mount, Flir thermal camera, and ACR searchlight round out the suite. A Highfield 310 dinghy with 20hp outboard and cover is included. The boat has only 39 engine hours since new delivery in August 2024.
