The Leopard 42 is a fiberglass catamaran built by Robertson & Caine to designs by Simonis Voogd. At 42 feet with a 23-foot beam, the boat combines sailing performance with spacious deck and interior layouts. Two Yanmar diesel engines of 90 horsepower each power the catamaran. The exterior features continuous hull-side windows, a continuous hardtop, and the signature upper-lounge area that defines the Leopard line, with a striking profile that balances modern and classic elements.
The interior is arranged with three cabins and three heads, each cabin featuring a private ensuite. All berths are island bunks with access from both sides. Natural light enters through optimized window placements including an aft starboard cabin window and a saloon skylight. The forward-facing L-shaped galley opens into the social spaces, while each head includes its own dedicated shower area.
The coachroof lounge provides a substantial gathering space above the main saloon, offering room to relax and entertain. The thoughtful design prioritizes flow and livability, with every major function anticipated during the design phase. The boat handles the balance between comfort and ease of operation across a hull design known for the Leopard brand's combination of performance and rugged practicality.
