2025 Ranger Tugs R-25

The 2025 Ranger Tugs R-25 is a 28-foot fiberglass trawler built around thoughtful design and practical functionality. Powered by a single 250-horsepower Yamaha outboard, the boat pairs solid power with a planning hull and patented Laminar Flow Interrupter technology for smooth, responsive handling. The standout feature is an extended swim platform and handrails that reach aft of the motor, creating clear deck space for fishing, water sports, boarding a dinghy, or tying alongside a dock—all without interference from engine rigging.

The main salon is open and bright, centered on a dinette that seats four and converts to a bed for two. A spacious quarter berth with removable mattress provides additional guest sleeping or storage flexibility. The galley is fully equipped with an electric/alcohol stove, refrigerator/freezer combo, microwave, and sink with hot and cold water. Forward is a private stateroom with a large bed, opening hatches for natural ventilation, reading lights, and a TV/DVD combination. The boat includes a private enclosed head with sink.

Navigation and monitoring are handled by a Garmin 1242xsv chartplotter with GPS, transducer, and sonar. The R-25 is designed to be trailerable, making it accessible for varied cruising grounds and storage.
