The Corsair 880 is a 29-foot trimaran built from fiberglass with a folding outrigger hull design. At 22 feet across when unfolded, it combines the stability and spaciousness of a wide platform with a light weight that allows trailering behind a standard vehicle. Power comes from a single gasoline engine. The design prioritizes accessible performance sailing for operators of any experience level, with a protected cockpit and high-aspect foils for efficiency.
The interior accommodates five people with full standing headroom throughout the saloon. The layout includes a galley, an enclosed head with shower, and sleeping berths. All systems fit within the compact footprint, with the boat designed to launch and be ready to sail in under an hour once trailered to the water.
Two configuration options are available. The base cruising version includes hot water and air conditioning. The Sport option upgrades the mast to 13.5 meters of carbon fiber, adds a longer carbon bowsprit, and includes lightweight aramid sails for increased power and performance.
