The Nautitech 48 Open is a 48-foot sailing catamaran built from fiberglass with a beam of 26 feet. Designed by MLYDG in collaboration with designer Christophe Chedal-Anglay, the boat combines modern, dynamic styling with proven hydrodynamic performance. The inverted bow design and forward deck contribute to a contemporary aesthetic matched by the distinguished hull lines and superstructure. The double aft helm station—a signature feature of the Open range—provides commanding sightlines of the sails while maintaining connection to the cockpit and crew, supporting both safety and distance sailing.
The interior follows an "open" concept with five available layout options to suit different cruising programs and lifestyles. The saloon flows seamlessly between interior and exterior spaces, with generous volumes and optimized circulation. A central bar positioned at the boat's center of gravity anchors the main living area, naturally drawing crew together. Large panoramic windows flood the space with natural light and views. The layout includes a spacious galley with full appliances, a large chart table, and a comfortable lounge area. Interior finishes are available in light walnut or optional oak, creating a modern, elegant atmosphere throughout.
The owner's suite is generously proportioned and includes an integrated dressing area, with a long hull window and additional headboard glazing providing ample natural light. The en-suite bathroom features deck panels for ventilation and daylight, a large mirror, and a substantial resin worktop with integrated sink and storage. Careful attention to material quality and finishing extends throughout the accommodation spaces, supporting extended comfort aboard.
