The NEEL 47 is a 47-foot fiberglass trimaran built for stability and performance across ocean conditions. Its 27-foot beam width provides the platform for a maximum righting moment at 27 degrees of heel, well beyond normal sailing angles, making it fundamentally more stable than catamaran designs of similar size. The centered weight distribution and rigid forestay configuration—anchored to the main hull rather than distributed across beams—deliver upwind performance and handling characteristics closer to a traditional monohull while maintaining multihull advantages in speed and carrying capacity.

The boat accommodates three cabins and three heads, offering comfortable accommodation for extended cruising. The layout distributes living and sleeping areas across the trimaran's wide platform, making efficient use of the generous beam.

Power comes from a single 60-horsepower Volvo diesel engine, providing reliable auxiliary propulsion for light winds and harbor maneuvering.
