The Nimbus Commuter 9 is a 30-foot Scandinavian-designed cruiser built for active use, whether as a daily commuter, weekend getaway boat, or platform for longer trips with overnight stays. Powered by a single Mercury 350 hp engine, it cruises at 34.76 knots and combines modern functionality with clean, purposeful design throughout.
The cockpit is the heart of the layout, featuring a large sliding glass roof hatch that floods the space with natural light. Four people can dine comfortably at the swiveling cockpit chairs, with a convertible passenger sofa that transforms into sleeping space for two children or one adult. The helm position is compact and well-positioned for the operator. Forward, a cabin holds a double berth, separate head, and galley. The foredeck includes a large loading hatch with cabin access and optional daybed seating for four. An aft deck sofa with storage completes the accommodation.
The helm can accommodate two and accepts single or dual chart plotters of various sizes. In place of the standard glass roof, an electronically opening canvas canopy is available as an alternative, offering more open-air exposure on warm days. Fiberglass construction throughout ensures durability for regular use.
