2026 Nimbus Commuter 9

The Nimbus Commuter 9 is a 30-foot Scandinavian-designed cruiser built for both daily commuting and extended trips. Powered by a single Mercury 350 hp gasoline engine, it cruises at 34.76 knots and combines speed with thoughtful, functional layout typical of contemporary Nordic yacht design.

The cockpit is the boat's social hub, featuring a large sliding glass roof hatch that floods the space with natural light. Four people can dine at the swiveling cockpit chairs, while the passenger sofa converts into a bed for two children or one adult. Forward, a separate cabin offers a double berth, head, and kitchenette. The helm position accommodates two and can be fitted with single or twin chart plotters up to 12 inches.

The foredeck includes a large loading hatch with cabin access and optional daybed seating for four. An electronically opening canvas canopy is available as an alternative to the standard glass roof, allowing full open-air exposure on warm days. The aft deck provides a wide sofa with integrated storage. The beam of 9.67 feet and overall 30.67-foot length support the generous proportions throughout.
