The Nimbus Commuter 9 is a 30-foot fiberglass cruiser built for speed and versatility. Powered by a single 250-horsepower Mercury diesel engine, it cruises at 34.76 knots and combines Scandinavian design with practical functionality suited to year-round commuting, day trips, or longer coastal passages.
The cockpit is the heart of the boat, offering abundant natural light through a large sliding glass roof hatch and a modern helm position. Four people can dine at the swiveling cockpit chairs, or five can be accommodated in total. The cockpit passenger sofa converts into a bed for two children or one adult. Forward lies a cabin with a double berth, separate head, and kitchenette. The aft deck features a wide sofa with integral stowage.
The foredeck includes a large loading hatch providing cabin access and room for an optional daybed that serves as additional seating for four or extends into a sunbed. The helm can be fitted with single or twin chart plotters up to 12 inches. In place of the standard glass roof, an electronically opening canvas canopy is available to increase open-air comfort in warm weather.
