The Ranger RT178C is a 17-foot 10-inch aluminum runabout built for fishing, powered by a single 60-horsepower Mercury Marine engine. The boat combines practical layout with thoughtful storage throughout, making it well-suited for anglers who need accessible gear organization and room to move.

The bow features three-across seating with an 8-foot, 6-inch rod box mounted up front. A wide bow design maximizes deck space, and an in-deck tackle storage box sits within easy reach. The boat carries dual aerated livewells—one divided and timed in the bow area and another aft on the rear deck. The console offers legroom beneath a cantilevered fiberglass design, while additional tackle storage compartments and storage under the bench seating round out the accommodation for equipment and supplies.

The rear deck provides room to fish and work, supported by the boat's wider beam. The boat comes with a custom Ranger Trail trailer fitted with premium wheels and Road Armor Equipped coating for corrosion protection. Custom marine-grade upholstery finishes the interior.
