The Ranger Tugs R-25 is a 28-foot fiberglass trawler built for cruising, fishing, and water-based recreation. Powered by a single 250-horsepower Yamaha outboard engine, the boat delivers accessible performance in a trailerable package. A defining feature is the extended Clear-Path swim platform, which wraps around the outboard motor to create an unobstructed walkway—ideal for boarding a dinghy, fishing, water sports, dockside tie-ups, and pet access without risk to the engine or operator.
The main salon is bright and open, with a dinette that seats four and converts to sleeping berth for two. A private forward stateroom features a full bed, opening hatches for ventilation, reading lights, and a television. The boat includes a fully enclosed head with an electric marine toilet, sink, and shower. An additional quarter berth with removable mattress provides guest sleeping space or extra storage. The galley is equipped with an electric and alcohol stove, refrigerator/freezer combo, microwave, and sink with hot and cold running water.
Navigation and comfort systems include a 12-inch Garmin display, climate control with heating and air conditioning, electric trim tabs, and a bow thruster. Power comes from lithium house batteries paired with solar panels, an inverter, and a battery charger. Fishing features include three rod holders, downrigger pads, and sport racks. Additional equipment encompasses a windlass with anchor package, swimming ladder, underwater lights, 220-watt solar panel, macerator discharge, and a multi-zone stereo system. The boat is trailerable and rides on an integrated trailer with trailer-light wiring.
