The Ranger Tugs R-25 is a 28-foot fiberglass cruiser powered by a single 250 hp Yamaha outboard engine. Built for trailering, it combines practical design with thoughtful features that prioritize safety and usability. The signature Clear-Path swim platform wraps around the engine rigging, creating an unobstructed walkway that simplifies fishing, water sports, dinghy access, and low-dock tie-ups without obstacles near the motor.
The main salon centers on a bright, comfortable space with a dinette that seats four and converts into a two-berth sleeping area. Forward lies a private stateroom with a large berth, opening hatches, reading lights, and television. A fully enclosed head with electric marine toilet, sink, and shower serves the cabin, while a quarter berth with removable mattress offers additional sleeping space or storage flexibility. The galley is complete with electric and alcohol cooktop, refrigerator-freezer, microwave, and sink with hot and cold water.
The helm features a 12-inch Garmin navigation display, color engine readout with digital fuel flow data, electronic single-lever controls, and a bolstered seat. The self-bailing cockpit provides seating for five or more, with an opening glass bulkhead and transom entry door. Deck equipment includes a windlass, 16.5 lb anchor with 50 feet of chain and 150 feet of line, three rod holders, stainless steel rails and cleats, and a washdown system.
Power and systems include electric trim tabs, bow thruster, lithium house batteries, 220-watt solar panel, battery charger, inverter, and 30-amp shore power inlet. Climate control provides heating and air conditioning throughout. Cabin lighting is LED, with additional indirect lighting and four solar-reflective skylights. The folding stainless steel mast allows bridge clearance of 8 feet 6 inches when lowered for trailering.
