2026 Ranger Tugs R-25

The 2026 Ranger Tugs R-25 is a 28-foot fiberglass trawler built for cruising and fishing. It's powered by a single Yamaha 250 hp gasoline engine paired with electric steering and Yamaha autopilot. Navigation and fish-finding equipment includes a Garmin 8612xsv with HD radar, GPS charting, and sonar. The boat runs lithium LiFePO4 house batteries and features a reverse cycle air-conditioning system.

The main salon is naturally lit with a dinette that seats four or converts into a bed for two. Forward of the salon sits a private stateroom with a full bed, opening hatches, reading lights, and a television. A fully enclosed head contains an electric marine toilet, sink, and shower. A quarter berth with removable mattress provides additional sleeping space or storage for guests. The galley includes an electric and alcohol cooktop, refrigerator-freezer combination, microwave, and hot and cold running water.

A standout design feature is the Clear-Path swim platform, which wraps around the outboard motor to create an unobstructed walkway. Heavy-duty handrails and the open platform design make boarding a dinghy, fishing, or docking straightforward and safe, even from low docks or for water sports. The boat is trailerable, making it practical for varied cruising grounds.
